PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Strategy & Production
Support the Toronto marketing team in developing social and content ideas that align with brand goals.
Assist in creating engaging, SEO-friendly content for blogs, websites, and social platforms.
Help maintain the content calendar and coordinate with the team on internal and external creative needs.
Contribute to video projects, including brainstorming, shooting support, and basic editing.
Campaign Optimization & Analytics
Assist in monitoring social media and content performance to help the team meet KPIs.
Use analytics tools to gather insights and support recommendations for future improvements.
Learn and apply tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console to help track website health and performance.
SEO & Technical Support
Support SEO efforts through keyword research, content optimization, and basic link-building tasks.
Assist with simple HTML, CSS, or JavaScript updates to improve website functionality and user experience (training provided).
Help with improving site performance through tasks like image optimization and basic UX checks.
Industry Trends & Vendor Coordination
Help the team stay updated on digital marketing and social trends by sharing relevant insights.
Assist with coordination or communication with third-party vendors when needed.
Knowledge & Skill Requirements
Education & Experience
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
Some experience or coursework in digital marketing, content creation, or SEO is an asset.
Technical Skills
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript (a plus, not required).
Familiarity with SEO or analytics tools is an asset (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console).
Comfort using social media platforms and basic scheduling or analytics tools.
Content & Campaign Support
Interest in content creation and social media strategy.
Some exposure to video production or editing tools is helpful.
Analytical & Organizational Skills
Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn from data.
Ability to manage tasks, stay organized, and work on multiple projects with guidance.
Curiosity about digital marketing, SEO, and emerging industry trends.
Communication & Collaboration
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a sense of ownership over quality.
